St Monica English Medium (CBSE) School, Kumbla celebrated Cultural Day 2 on 5 September 2026 with a vibrant series of literary competitions that provided students with a wonderful platform to showcase their linguistic talents and creativity.
The competitions included Recitation in English, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, along with Versification in English and Hindi. The Recitation competition was conducted in three categories: Classes 3 & 4, Classes 5 to 7, and Classes 8 to 10, while Versification was held for students of Classes 8 to 10.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence, making the event lively and memorable. They eagerly grabbed the opportunity to express themselves through poetry, rhythm, language and creative composition. Their impressive performances reflected their talent, preparation and love for literature.
The event successfully encouraged students to appreciate the beauty of different languages while developing their communication skills, confidence and creativity. Cultural Day 2 was truly a celebration of words, expression and young talent at St. Monica English Medium (CBSE) School, Kumbla.
