Extracurricular Activities Inauguration 2026–2027

St Monica English Medium School, Kumbla, inaugurated the Extracurricular Activities Programme for the academic year 2026–2027 on 4 July 2026 with great enthusiasm.

The programme was inaugurated by the School Manager, Rev. Fr Melwyn, in the presence of the teaching staff, students, and the instructors of the various extracurricular activities. As part of the programme, the school introduced a range of activities, including Chess, Yoga, Dance, Abacus, Karate, and Keyboard to promote the holistic development of students.

The instructors were formally introduced and warmly welcomed to the St Monica family: Mr AkshayKumar (Karate) Ms. Ceema (Abacus), Mr. Jayaprakash (Keyboard), Mr. Kunjhambu (Chess), Ms. Aparna (Yoga), and Mr. Shibin (Dance). Their presence marks the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, creativity, and skill development for the students.

In his inaugural address, Rev. Fr. Melwyn encouraged the students to participate wholeheartedly in the extracurricular activities, emphasizing that such programmes help nurture confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership alongside academic excellence.
